Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana will not be loaned out in this January transfer window, according to Sky Sports News.
Reports had emerged earlier today linking the England international with a move to Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahçe, with Jurgen Klopp said to be keen on getting more minutes under Lallana’s belt.
However, Sky Sports News have shot down these claims, saying their sources have told them that Lallana will be staying put.
Klopp is apparently keen on reintegrating Lallana back into his squad, now that the former Southampton man has seemingly recovered from the latest in a series of injuries that have limited his game time in recent months.
The 30-year old midfielder made two substitute appearances for the Reds over the Christmas period, and Klopp is keen to see him continue to feature for his first-team, who still sit top of the Premier League table.
