Full Time: Manchester United 0-0 Manchester City. One club in the bottom half, the other wishing for Top 4. Have we just witnessed the least significant Manchester Derby of all time?
Man United exactly where they should be

Let’s take a minute to analyse Manchester United.
Stubborn Manager
Ruben Amorim, the man rejected by Liverpool last summer for his ‘inflexible tactical approach’ was apparently brought in to save Manchester United.
Now they are paying the price. His refusal to deviate from anything other than his 3-4-3 / 3-4-2-1 is a sign of a poor manager.
A good manager uses the players he possess to the best of their ability and gets the most out of them.
Instead, all he has done is complain that the players he has ‘don’t fit his system’ and anyone that isn’t onboard will be replaced.
He’s led them to an impressive 13th in the League. A miracle really for a club that has a Net Spend of minus £565 million in the last 5 years.
Drawing 0-0 in a Manchester Derby at Old Trafford. These days, a good result for them must be said.
Man City Decline

The other Manchester Club has seen a remarkable decline this season.
Pep Guardiola and his seemingly ‘unlimited resources’. You might assume that there would be contingency plans if some of his best players get injured. It appears not.
The devastation that losing Rodri has caused is difficult to describe.
From Treble Winners two seasons ago, to sitting below an average Chelsea in the League in 5th place.
Now they battle to a goalless draw in a Manchester Derby against one of the worst United sides in recent history.
What a time to be a Liverpool Fan
Despite Liverpool losing to Fulham this afternoon in a shambolic first half performance. That, is a story for another time.
The Reds sit comfortably top of the Premier League. A loss to Fulham doesn’t change that fact. The lead that’s been amassed eases any worries Liverpool fans might typically have in Title run-ins.
This season Liverpool have beaten Man City twice, gaining 6 points and obtaining 4 points from Manchester United. 0-2 and 0-3 defeats at their home grounds respectively.
Both clubs failed to dent Liverpool’s title challenge and now, must sit and watch as Liverpool continue to fight for the biggest honour in English Football.
