It appears that Liverpool are close to agreeing a deal to sign on long-term target Ben Chilwell from Leicester City.
The talented left-back has been tracked by the Reds for some time now.
Although Chilwell originally started this season at his parent club, he spent a few months on-loan at Huddersfield Town before returned to Leicester in January.
Claudio Ranieri had promised the youngster more game time upon his return, and although he played the full 90 minutes in both of Leicester’s FA Cup games, he has not featured in the starting lineup for the Foxes in the Premier League.

The 19-year-old defender had been offered a new contract by Leicester, but according to Melissa Reddy of Goal.com, the promising youngster has chosen Liverpool as his preferred destination.
Chilwell won Leicester’s ‘Academy Player of the Year’ award last season and has since been tracked by multiple clubs, with Arsenal reportedly, failing with two bids to sign him in January
Reportedly on £800-a-week and entering the final year of his contract, it seems Liverpool have snared the highly rated prospect, with a deal anticipated to be worth around £8million.
