Liverpool have announced the signing 18-year old defender Anderson Arroyo.
The Colombian signed from Fortaleza C.E.I.F, a club in his native country, however, Liverpool fans won’t see him anytime in the near future as he’s been sent on loan to Real Mallorca for 18 months, due to work permit issues.
Arroyo made his debut for Fortaleza at 15 and has spent most of his career playing on the right side of defence, although he is left-footed.

Liverpool have bought 100% of his playing rights, but have had to loan him out as he isn’t eligible for a work permit at this time.
Mallorca gave the teenager a trial in a hope of signing him on a permanent deal but the player has decided to put pen to paper on a deal with Liverpool, so the Segunda B side will be happy to have him on loan for the remainder of the current season as well as the full campaign next year.
