Sevilla believe they will eventually be able to sell rising star Jules Kounde for as much as £70m, according to AS [via HITC].
The 22-year-old is one of the most exciting centre-backs in Europe at the moment, scoring a stunning solo effort against Barcelona in midweek.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Kounde in the past, while Manchester City are also believed to have had a summer bid rejected, but a move hasn’t yet materialised.
There are thought to be plenty of suitors for the Frenchman’s signature and Sevilla believe he will end up being the biggest sale in the club’s history (AS).

If Liverpool are to spend big on a centre-back this summer, Kounde is certainly one of the most exciting options out there.
That being said, having to pay a fee as astronomical as £70m could be hard to justify, especially with a proven Champions League operator like RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano having a release clause of €45m (£39.5m).
Spending so much on one player – an individual who remains relatively unproven, too – would be a risk when there are also other areas of the pitch in which Liverpool could strengthen.
That’s not to downplay Kounde’s vast potential, but it may be that a financially stronger club ends up landing him.
