Liverpool could sell both Marko Grujic and Harry Wilson this summer, according to David Lynch of the Evening Standard.
The midfield pair are currently on loan at Hertha Berlin and Bournemouth respectively, having not been considered a key part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans in 2019/20.
While Grujic and Wilson could return to Liverpool this summer, there is no guarantee that they both have long-term futures at Anfield.
Lynch went one further than that in a Q&A on Monday, saying that he could easily see the duo being sold permanently:
Both are clearly talented players but this could well be the summer where they depart Liverpool permanently.
The standard you need to reach to get into this team at the moment are so high, and neither Grujic or Wilson have touched them during their respective loan stints.
There is, of course, no shame in that, and their ability will likely be reflected in the hefty sums they command in the transfer market.

While both Grujic and Wilson are good footballers in their own right, Liverpool are in a position where they need to be ruthless.
The Reds are arguably the leading club side in world football at the moment and they require top class depth in the squad, calling upon elite players from the substitutes’ bench.
I’m not convinced that either Grujic or Wilson are good enough to fit into that bracket in the long-term, and with both now 23 years of age, they can’t be treated as young and emerging players anymore.
There is a reason why they still haven’t made the grade at Liverpool, when the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez, who are younger than them, have done.
Liverpool could receive a healthy sum of money for Grujic and Wilson, which could be used to sign better options instead.
