Liverpool are lining up a swoop for Brighton & Hove Albion defender Ben White to replace the outgoing Dejan Lovren, according to a report from Leeds Live.
White spent last season on loan with Leeds and was a major contributor for them as they secured promotion back to the Premier League, 16 years after they were first relegated from the top flight.

Leeds would be keen to keep White but as it stands, Brighton have no intention to send him out on loan and even a sale is far from certain at this stage.
However, if a club makes a suitable offer, the Seagulls could cash in on White, given that they already have the likes of Lewis Dunk, Adam Webster and Shane Duffy as part of their squad and selling the 22-year-old could allow them to free up funds to spend elsewhere.
Whether White would be willing to move to Liverpool remains to be seen as he is keen to play regular first-team football, but if he would fancy joining the Premier League champions, he could be a very good replacement for Lovren, who looks set to seal a move to Zenit.
