A number of Liverpool supporters have bemoaned Trent Alexander-Arnold’s form, following another below par performance against Manchester United over the weekend.
The Reds could only draw 0-0 at home to their bitter rivals on Sunday afternoon, as they struggled to find their rhythm once again.
Liverpool now haven’t scored in the Premier League since December 27th, when Sadio Mane found the net against West Brom at Anfield.
There were several individuals who struggled against United, with the front-three of Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino all far from their best.
Alexander-Arnold was arguably as disappointing as anyone, however, looking like a shadow of the world-class player he can be.
The 22-year-old has been short of his top level all season and Liverpool desperately need him to return to his best soon, considering he is very much the Reds’ playmaker.
These Liverpool supporters took to Twitter to speak of their concern at Alexander-Arnold’s form.
Anyone else think Trent has been off it for a while now?

Trent to me looks like he’s a little low on confidence. He’s usually so instinctive and makes really quick decisions. He needs to remember that for two years he’s been the best right back on the planet. And start trusting his instinct again. #LFC.

This was before United. Salah and Mane both at the lowest 10 game productivity of their #lfc careers. Bobby had his career low in November and Trent is lowest since Nov 2018.

Trent being out of form also has a big effect on this team ☹

I'm not saying that trent and Bobby have become bad players but if jota was available and we had a good enough back up right back they would be dropped due to they're form at the moment #lfc
