A number of Liverpool fans are unhappy with Jurgen Klopp’s injury update on Diogo Jota, as his absence from the team continues to drag on.
The Portuguese joined the Reds for £41million from Wolves last summer, in a move that seemingly materialised from nowhere.
Jota made a flying start to life at Liverpool, scoring nine goals in 17 appearances, including winners against Sheffield United and West Ham.
Unfortunately, injury struck down the 24-year-old when he was on top form, with a knee problem in a dead rubber away to Midtjylland in the Champions League keeping him out for a sustained period.
Jota’s return has been edging closer all the time, but in Wednesday’s pre-Burnley press conference, Klopp confirmed that the forward was still a “few weeks away” from making his comeback.
