Liverpool fans aren't keen on Reds signing Traore from Wolves

Adama Traore has enjoyed an impressive season for Wolves, scoring four goals and laying on seven assists, too.

It is a noticeable improvement from 2018/19, when the winger managed just one apiece in the Premier League.

Three of those goals came against Manchester City, aiding Liverpool’s title bid in the process.

His double at the Etihad earned Wolves a famous win earlier in the campaign, and he scored in the 3-2 win over the champions at Molineux in December, too.

According to reports in the Telegraph, Wolves are ‘braced’ for summer bids for Traore, with top clubs mooted as being interested.

Liverpool have been linked with the 24-year-old in the past and they could be considered an option for the former Barcelona man.

Despite Traore’s improved form, the idea of him in a Reds shirt still doesn’t sit well with some fans.

These Liverpool supporters took to Twitter to reveal their thoughts on the club signing him, responding to a question I posed.

Nope.

Nope. Decent bloke but just a beefy Walcott/Redmond/Aaron Lennon/Shaun Wright Phillips type player.

Nope. He’s improved but still not great. Also suits Wolves counter attacking style and not sure he’d move well to a possession dominant team. Also plays in phases.
