A number of Liverpool fans believe Harry Kane’s injury was coming to him against the Reds, having attempted a similar trick that has been criticised this season.
The Premier League champions were excellent on Thursday night, sealing an impressive 3-1 win at Tottenham.
Roberto Firmino, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Sadio Mane scored the goals for the visitors, who picked up their first victory in the league since December 19th.
Kane led the line with Son Heung-min at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but struggled with ankle issues throughout the first half.
The 27-year-old was eventually replaced at half-time, following a clash with Jordan Henderson that made it impossible for him to carry on.
Footage shows Kane looking at Henderson and backing into him, trying to win a foul – something that he has done several times this season, risking injury to opposition players.
There was little sympathy for the striker after the incident forced him off, with Liverpool fans letting their feelings be known on Twitter.

I’ve always said I never wish an injury on any player. But I’m happy that Karma wasn’t listening.
