Some Liverpool fans cannot believe Sadio Mane has been left out of Jamie Carragher and Manchester United legend Gary Neville’s best team of 2020.
The 28-year-old has had a year to treasure, helping inspire the Reds to Premier League glory, as well as outlining his status as one of the world’s most devastating wide men.
Despite this, there was no place for Mane in Carragher and Neville’s best XI during the calendar year, after they revealed it on Monday Night Football [via the Daily Mail].
Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah were all included, as Liverpool unsurprisingly dominated the team.
There were also places for ex-Red Conor Coady, Kevin De Bruyne, Bruno Fernandes, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane.
It was Son who was included over Mane, with Carragher and Neville admittedly at pains to leave the Liverpool superstar out.
These Reds supporters have been reacting to the Senegalese’s exclusion on Twitter.

Think they failed to consider even if a player hasn't scored for a few weeks, his performances haven't dropped much. One or two but for like 95% of matches this year Mane has been incredible
