A number of Liverpool fans are delighted to see Diogo Jota back in training after a photo emerged on the Reds’ social media channels.
The Portuguese forward has been missing with a knee injury since early December, picking up the knock away to Midtjylland in the Champions League.
Jota was in magnificent form before the injury, scoring nine goals in his first 17 Liverpool appearances, including winners at home to Sheffield United and West Ham.
Without him, the Premier League champions went through a poor run of form, with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino struggling and Jurgen Klopp having a lack of attacking options without the 24-year-old around.
It looks as though Jota’s return to the Liverpool team is edging closer all the time, however, with the club’s official Twitter account posting a photo of him in training on Wednesday.

The forward may not be back immediately, but a return to the fold has to be expected at some point in the next week or two.
These Liverpool fans took to Twitter to show their delight at Jota being back.
