A number of Liverpool supporters are not keen on the idea of the Reds selling Naby Keita this summer.
According to a report in the Mirror, the Guinean could be one of six players to leave Anfield at the end of the season.
The list also includes Loris Karius, Nathaniel Clyne, Dejan Lovren, Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi.
Keita arrived to a positive reception in 2018, having officially joined from RB Leipzig the previous summer. He technically became Liverpool’s most expensive signing of all time at that point, before Virgil van Dijk took tht crown before Keita even arrived at Anfield.
He is yet to hit the level expected of him, however, a situation not helped by him suffering from ongoing injury problems.
Keita has subsequently found himself down the midfield pecking order, with the likes of Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain seemingly seen as more important players.
The report has not gone down well with some, however, with the general consensus that selling the 25-year-old this summer would be knee-jerk.
These Liverpool fans stuck up for Keita on Twitter.
We'd regret selling Keita

Keita plays good when he plays. Only downside is that he gets injured too often. If he is sold it’s only because of injuries.
