Some Liverpool fans have been heaping praise on Curtis Jones, after one piece of outrageous skill in the Reds’ 2-1 win over Tottenham.
Jurgen Klopp’s champions edged Spurs at Anfield on Wednesday night, in a top-of-the-table Premier League clash.
Liverpool dominated the first half and Mohamed Salah gave them the lead with a deflected effort, only for Son Heung-min to swiftly equalise.
Steven Bergwijn and Harry Kane missed great opportunities to put Spurs ahead after the break and they rued those wasted opportunities, as Roberto Firmino headed home a late winner.
Jones was exceptional on the night, arguably outperforming anyone on the pitch, despite still only being 19 years of age.
Playing with incredible confidence, one wonderful bit of trickery shared by The Anfield Wrap on Twitter summed up his quality, as he produced a fancy flick in a tight space, managing to keep possession.
