Many Liverpool fans have been getting excited on Twitter over footage of academy prospects James Balagizi and Mateusz Musialowski.
The 13-second video shows the two 17-year-olds combining during the young Reds’ 4-1 victory over Middlesbrough in the Under-18 Premier League.
Musialowski, a Polish youngster, only arrived at the club this summer, whilst Manchester-born Balagizi graduated from the club’s academy.
Liverpool’s under-18s sit second in the table behind Manchester United’s youngsters. Another Red youngster in Layton Stewart has set the league alight thus far, sitting top of the scoring charts with 13 goals this season.
With another teenager, Harvey Elliott, currently out on loan making an impression in the Championship for Blackburn Rovers, the Reds can be very optimistic about the plethora of talent coming through the ranks.
