Liverpool fans love fan's comment about Guardiola on Sky Sports

It seems that some Liverpool fans absolutely love one Reds supporter’s comment about Pep Guardiola.

The Spaniard has masterminded a glorious period in Manchester City’s history, winning the last two Premier League titles with 198 points combined.

Guardiola’s side were favourites to win three titles in a row back in August, with Liverpool seen as their closest challengers after a memorable title race in 2018/19.

The Reds have put together a remarkable campaign, however, winning 27 of their 29 matches and dropping just five points. It means City are languishing 25 points behind Jurgen Klopp’s men, failing to match them at any point.

On Thursday, The Anfield Wrap‘s Neil Atkinson was interviewed on Sky Sports News by Mike Wedderburn, who is a City fan.

After Wedderburn claimed he wouldn’t accept Liverpool being handed the title without them officially winning it, to which Atkinson joked that Guardiola gave it to them in December:

"As a Manchester City fan I'm loathed to award Liverpool the title without you actually winning it."

"Pep Guardiola did in December." 😂
