Liverpool have a 22-point lead over Manchester City in the Premier League title race, following an extraordinary season.
The Reds have picked up 73 points from a possible 75 this season, winning 24 and drawing one of their games, as they close in on a first league title since 1990.
Only a disaster would prevent that from happening now, with just 18 points required to clinch glory between now and May.
As Liverpool tick off win after win, talk is already turning to when and where they could be crowned champions.
One of the potential venues is Goodison Park on Monday, March 16th, which could be a nightmare for most Everton supporters, given their rivalry with Liverpool.
Speaking on Friday, Blues’ manager Carlo Ancelotti admitted he hoped Liverpool win the title anywhere other than Goodison, having accepted that they will go all the way.
Liverpool are going to win the league – I hope not in Goodison Park. There are a lot of other stadiums.
These Liverpool fans couldn’t help but respond to the Times‘ Paul Joyce’s tweet, hoping that the Reds become champions at the home of their nearest rivals.
