A number of Liverpool fans have been mocking a Manchester United supporter on Twitter, following his complaints about penalty decisions since Jurgen Klopp’s recent comments.
The Reds returned to winning ways in the Premier League on Sunday night, clinching a 2-0 victory away to bottom-of-the-table Sheffield United.
It was a vital three points in the top four battle, especially with United, Leicester City, Chelsea and West Ham all dropping points beforehand.
United drew 0-0 at Stamford Bridge in the weekend’s most high-profile game, with VAR failing to award the Red Devils a spot-kick at Stamford Bridge.
One supporter took to Twitter to rage about their lack of decisions of late, comparing the statistics pre and post-Klopp’s comments about United and winning penalties.
United's Penalties Before and After Klopp's comments…
Before:
11 Pens in 25 Games (A penalty every 204mins)After:
2 Pens in 16 Games (A penalty every 720mins)Coincidence?#MUFC

The Liverpool manager’s words may have had an Alex Ferguson-esque impact on referees, or at least that’s what some Reds supporters have joked.
These fans took to Twitter to respond to the tweet, mocking the individual in question.
