Some Liverpool fans have been reacting to a forgotten piece of magic from Gini Wijnaldum against Crystal Palace.
The Dutchman has been a magnificent player for the Reds since joining from Newcastle United in the summer of 2016, and is arguably in the form of his career right now.
While numerous others have been injured this season, Wijnaldum has remained permanently fit and been a colossus in the middle of the park, proving to be worth his weight in goal.
The 30-year-old may be renowned for his industry and understated brilliance as a footballer, but he is also technically gifted.
That was summed up by one moment in Saturday’s 7-0 mauling away to Palace, as Liverpool produced a masterful performance.
Wijnaldum pulled off a brilliant nutmeg on Jordan Ayew during the first half, with the club’s official Twitter account sharing the clip on Monday.
