A number of Liverpool fans are delighted to see Naby Keita back in training, suggesting he could play a part in this weekend’s Merseyside derby.
The Reds take on Everton at Anfield on Saturday evening, looking to avoid a shock fourth home Premier League defeat in a row.
After going almost four years unbeaten at Anfield in the league, Burnley, Brighton and Manchester City have all won there in recent weeks.
Liverpool go into the game in sixth place, three points ahead of Everton, having played one game more. It is a vital game in the top-battle, with the Reds’ title hopes now essentially over.
Someone has hasn’t featured for Jurgen Klopp’s side since December is Keita, who last played in the 7-0 win away to Crystal Palace.
On Thursday, the Guinean was pictured back in training after recovering from injury, however, meaning he could make the squad to face Everton.
