Andy Robertson is fit for Liverpool’s Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid, according to the Evening Standard‘s David Lynch.
The Scot missed Saturday’s 2-1 win at home to Bournemouth, sitting the game out as a precaution.
Speaking to reporters, with quotes provided by This Is Anfield, Robertson has declared himself available for selection against Atletico:
My ankle’s felt good, since the winter it’s felt really good. That week off helped.
Friday in training, I just overstretched my hamstring, and [we had] a couple of interesting conversations and obviously I felt I was fine.
But the cautious approach was taken and Milly went on to be Man of the Match.
Perfect for the club, and I obviously managed to sit out and I’ll train today, so all good on that part.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are 1-0 down after the first leg last month, looking to reach the quarter-finals for a third season in a row.

News of Robertson’s return is an enormous boost, considering the influence he has from left-back.
The 25-year-old provides constant energy and defensive nous – an average of 1.6 tackles and 1.5 clearances per game this season – not to mention attacking quality, with two goals and seven assists to his name this season.
While James Milner played very well at left-back against Bournemouth, he doesn’t provide natural width and pace down the left flank, which could be so important as the Reds will be tasked with breaking down a stubborn Atletico side.
Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold could see a lot of the ball if the visitors stay narrow and sit deep, so their end product must be at a high level.
