Liverpool have hired former PSG scout Sylvain N’Diaye to work on their Spanish scouting team, according to a report in Spanish outlet AS (translated by Sport Witness).
The Frenchman appeared for numerous Ligue 1 and La Liga clubs in his playing career, including Lille and Marseille in his home country, and Levante and Tenerife south of the border.

Since his retirement in 2011, N’Diaye had been operating as a member of PSG’s Spanish scouting team, but has now accepted an offer from the Merseysiders to scour the nation of new Red talent.
Liverpool’s last signing from La Liga was the left-back Alberto Moreno, signed from Sevilla in 2014.
N’Diaye will join a team led by chief Spain and Portugal overseer Kiko Espinar, where both youth and senior teams will be examined and analysed.
Liverpool had been linked with a move for Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio this summer, but those rumours were perhaps little more than sensationalist hot air.
