Liverpool are interested in PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn, according to a report from Dutch outlet De Telegraaf.
The 20-year-old has had a very good start to the season with PSV, scoring five goals and getting four assists in just 13 games in all competitions.
According to the report, the Reds sent scouts to watch Bergwijn in Champions League action in midweek as his side lost 2-1 at home to Inter Milan.

Bergwijn has helped PSV get off to an amazing start in the Eredivisie as the champions have won all eight of their opening league games, scoring 30 goals in the process.
According to Sport, Bergwijn’s contract with the Dutch giants contains an £18million release clause, which could mean that the Reds could get a bargain if they do decide to make a move for him.
Bergwijn is yet to be capped by the Netherlands but he has been called up to the national squad for the upcoming Nations League clash against Germany and the friendly against Belgium, so he could find himself partnering Virgil van Dijk and Gini Wijnaldum
