Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing a French youngster by the name of Jordy Gaspar.

The player is naturally a right back, however, he can also play at left-back as well. With him having his right foot as his favourite, he could be the cover many want for Nathaniel Clyne whilst also offering an alternative at left-back.
With Jon Flanagan set to join Burnley on a season-long loan, Gaspar’s addition could be a timely one.
Gaspar has already featured for Lyon this pre-season but is expected to be behind both Rafael and Christophe Jallet in the pecking order.

The 19-year old is a product of Lyon’s own academy, but more regular game time and especially the role as Clyne’s number two, could be very tempting for the youngster and just the lure needed for him to leave homely surroundings in France.
However, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp have hinted that Liverpool might be done with summer transfers, at least with players coming in.
Asked on more incomings the manager said the following:
If I had to guess I would say rather no, but I don’t know actually because it’s a long time until the 31st of August and I have no idea.
However If Liverpool was to up their interest in Gaspar, they could face competition from Bayer Leverkusen
