Liverpool have joined the race to sign Leicester City attacking midfielder James Maddison this summer.
According to The Daily Star, via The Leicester Mercury, Liverpool are one of a number of clubs interested in a deal to sign the midfielder ahead of next season.
The report claims that Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham are all also showing an interest.

Maddison is attracting interest after an impressive debut season in the Premier League with Leicester. In 36 league appearances, Maddison racked up seven goals and seven assists, also creating the most chances in the entire division.
The 22-year-old joined Leicester from Norwich last summer in a deal worth roughly £25m, after scoring 15 and assisting 11 for the Canaries during the 2017/18 campaign.
Leicester are said to be demanding a fee in the region of £60m for Maddison, which would make him the second most expensive English player of all time – behind Raheem Sterling.
