Liverpool have joined Manchester City and Manchester United in the race to sign Jack Grealish, according to the Mirror.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed a superb start to the season for Aston Villa, proving to be their talisman and scoring twice and registering three assists in the 7-2 win at home to the Reds in October.
Grealish has arguably been one of the Premier League’s outstanding players in 2020/21 so far, leading to reports linking him with a move to a bigger club.
City and United have been seen as potential suitors and now Liverpool are also believed to be eyeing him up.
A January sale looks highly unlikely, but a summer move is mooted instead, with Mohamed Salah’s potential Reds exit also mentioned as a reason for them trying to sign the Villa star.

Grealish is a fantastic player who appears to be coming into his prime, so in many ways, it is exciting to see Liverpool linked with him.
That being said, it is hard to justify likely having to pay a huge fee for a player who wouldn’t start all the time.
Jurgen Klopp already has Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota as genuinely top class attacking options, so where would Grealish fit in?
Equally, there are a plethora of midfield options, too, should he want to play deeper for Liverpool.
It feels more likely that City or United could sign Grealish instead, possibly finding a place for him in the team more easily.
