Liverpool are reportedly interested in making a move for Hartlepool United youngster Connor Simpson this summer according to the Mirror.
The young attacker has caught the eye of many with some impressive performances in the youth ranks for the National League side, which have seen him burst onto the first-team scene at the club.
Simpson, who made two appearances for the Pools near the end of their dismal League Two campaign last term, is highly regarded by those at the Victoria Ground and his rave reviews have prompted interest from Premier League sides such as Liverpool.

With a style likened to the familiar face of Andy Carroll, the 17-year-old is high in demand this month. He is yet to put pen to paper on a professional contract with Hartlepool and could have his head turned by the prospect of coming through the ranks at Anfield.
Newcastle Untied are also cited with interest in the youngster.
