Liverpool are keeping an eye on Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne and could make a big-money move for him at the end of the season, according to a report on Talksport.
The Italian international put in an impressive performance against Liverpool in the Champions League earlier this season as he netted a late winner for his side.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was reportedly impressed with what he say from Insigne and is tracking his current progress under Carlo Ancelotti.
The diminutive forward has already managed to find the back of the net six times in eight Serie A appearances this season and if he keeps up this incredible form, then his value will only continue to increase.
It is understood that Napoli have no intention to let Insigne leave the club and see him as a key part of their future. Liverpool are only scouting the 27-year-old at this stage and could be set to test Napoli’s resolve in the summer transfer window.
