Liverpool are being linked with a surprise move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, the Reds are weighing up their options as Emre Can nears a move to Juventus and Wanyama is one name under consideration.
The Kenyan international has not featured all too often this season and he missed the majority of the campaign through a knee injury. However, he is back in the first-team picture at Tottenham and has been playing well.

Wanyama, who joined Spurs for just £12m from Southampton, appears to be regarded only as a rotational option for Mauricio Pochettino at Wembley and this is said to have put a number of top clubs on red alert.
Liverpool have already secured Naby Keita from RB Leipzig ahead of the summer but it seems they want to sign a more physical midfielder to aid them in replacing Can.
There are no signs that the 26-year-old is unhappy at Spurs, though, and a move from Liverpool does appear to be somewhat unlikely.
