It has been a successful loan spell at Championship side Derby County for Liverpool winger Harry Wilson. However, even after the form he has shown at Derby, his long-term future at Anfield is still up in the air.
The young winger had a positive impact on Derby County, scoring 18 goals for the Rams throughout Frank Lampard first season as a manager.
But when it mattered, Wilson was unable to score for the East Midlands side. They played Aston Villa in the play-off final, but Wilson was unsuccessful when it came to scoring this time around, meaning Derby lost 2-1 to Villa.
After his impressive season, Wilson has gone back to Liverpool but hasn’t forgotten everything the staff, players and supporters have done for him whilst he’s been at Derby. The 22-year-old has taken to social media to thank Derby for the season he has had.
