Liverpool are said to be one of the many teams to make a bid to sign an unnamed Benfica player.
According to reports in Portugal from local outlet Correio da Manha, as cited on Sport Witness, several teams have already submitted bids, but it is unclear at this stage who is being targetted, with numerous players believed to be wanted by different clubs.
There are a number of players that could leave Benfica over the summer and it appears that a host of clubs are looking to jump ahead of potential suitors and get an early deal lined up.

The report adds that Benfica could fetch up to €300 million with the number of bids that they have had come in already.
The likes of Alex Grimaldo, Ruben Dias and Joao Felix have all been impressing this season, but at this stage, it is merely speculation about who the player in question is that Liverpool have their eyes on.
