Liverpool have reportedly launched a €70 million bid to sign Lorenzo Insigne from Napoli in the summer transfer window.
According to reports in Italy from La Repubblica, as cited on Sport Witness, the Reds have made an approach to the player’s agent Mino Raiola.
Liverpool have long been linked with a move for Insigne, with Jurgen Klopp a known admirer.
However, it now appears that the club are ready to step up their interest with a summer bid.

Unfortunately for Liverpool, Sport Witness’ report claims that the player is valued at around €150 million, meaning they’ll need to put their hands in their pockets if they want to secure a summer deal.
Insigne has been linked with several big-money moves away from Napoli through the years, but he has emerged as a key figure in Carlo Ancelotti’s side this season, a factor that will only make it more difficult for the Reds to lure him away from the Serie A side.
