Liverpool have been tracking Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski for some time now and are looking to revive their interest in him in the summer transfer window as they prepare for life after Emre Can and Philippe Coutinho.
Zielinski has enjoyed a great season with Napoli as they continue their assault on the Serie A title, scoring eight goals and providing two assists in 34 appearances across all competitions.
The 23-year-old remains a top target for the Reds who plan on reigniting their interest in the former Udinese star but he is likely to cost them a hefty sum.

Reports in Italy state that Liverpool, who were hoping they could snag the midfielder for just €40m, will have to meet the player’s contractual release clause in full if they wish to sign him, and it stands at €65m.
Capped 29 times by Poland, Zielinski is an attack-minded midfielder who looks to break forward into the final third to create which would suggest he’d fill the gap Philippe Coutinho left.
Liverpool are interested in Zielinski’s Napoli teammate, Jorginho, as well as they look at the Italy international to come and replace Emre Can at the base of the midfield, with Can likely to join Juventus on a free transfer amid interest from Bayern Munich and Manchester City.
