Liverpool have no interest in a move to sign Lyon forward Memphis Depay, according to L’Equipe, as cited on social media by Robin Bairner.
A few weeks ago there was speculation surfacing that Liverpool were interested in the Lyon forward.
Depay himself added fuel to this by posting a video on his Instagram account in which he casually walked into a private red plane with a full red suit on as well.
However, according to these latest reports, this no longer appears to be the case as the European champions begin their work for the summer transfer window.
The Dutchman has recovered well since his torrid spell at Manchester United, scoring 29 league goals across his last two seasons with Lyon.
The 25-year-old forward is now a pivotal part of Ronald Koeman’s Dutch side and he has matured both as a player and professional.
