Liverpool have been handed a transfer boost as Barcelona have reportedly told winger Ousmane Dembele, a target for the Reds in the recent past, that he can leave the Catalan giants in January.
According to reports, some of Barcelona’s most high profile stars are unhappy with Dembele’s attitude as he is often late to meetings and training and they want manager Ernesto Valverde to ship him out.
RAC1 say that the players will get their wish and Dembele will be allowed to move on in January if a club makes a suitable offer.

However, Barca paid a substantial fee, around €105m + €40m in add-ons, for the French international and they’ll want to recoup most, if not all, of that back, which might be too big a price for Liverpool to splash out on another attacking option.
Jurgen Klopp is keen to only add players with good characters to his squad and if Dembele is leaving La Liga’s champions due to a poor attitude, that could put the German off making a move for him.
