Liverpool are to consider making a move for AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
According to the Mirror, the Reds have allegedly made a £35m offer for the shot-stopper but AC Milan are demanding nearly double the amount.
It has also been rumoured that the Reds are prepared to offer a player of their own as part of the deal to secure the 19-year-old’s services.
Donnarumma has built a strong reputation for himself in Serie A. With over 100 club appearances at such a young age, he has established himself as one of the hottest prospects in world football.

However, the Italian goalkeeper’s future at Milan is in doubt, with reports again linking him with a move away from the San Siro.
Talks of a move away began last summer, when his agent Mino Raiola hinted the star would reject a new deal at his current club.
The Reds appear to be the favourites for Donnarumma’s signature despite their existing links to Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
As such, question marks now surround the futures of regular goalkeepers Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius.
Karius has become Jurgen Klopp’s regular first pick in goal after a series of assured performances, but it is believed that the Merseyside club are looking to get stronger at the position.
