Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur will lock horns tomorrow in what promises to be an intriguing Carabao Cup clash at Anfield.
The Reds are unbeaten under Andoni Iraola but have won just once in the Premier League, most recently having drawn 0-0 vs Fulham.
The Spaniard hasn’t really rotated his squad so much as important games continue to come thick and fast.
However, some of the Reds’ big guns are expected to sit this one out, such as Virgil van Dijk and Alisson Becker.
The Dutchman has played every minute so far and will get rested, while Iraola already confirmed that Giorgi Mamardashvili will start between the sticks.
Joe Gomez is also back and could be in the matchday squad, while the likes of Lewis Koumas, Wataru Endo and James McConnell are expected to feature as well.
Predicted Liverpool XI vs Tottenham Hotspur: Giorgi Mamardashvili; Jeremie Frimpong, Ronald Araujo, Joe Gomez, Kostas Tsimikas; Wataru Endo, James McConnell; Rio Ngumoha, Trey Nyoni, Lewis Koumas, Cody Gakpo
