Liverpool are reportedly set to land Trabzonspor’s Abdulkadir Omur this summer, beating rivals Manchester United in the race for the talented Turkish teenager.
According to Asist Analiz, relayed in an article by talkSPORT, the Reds are closing in on securing Omur’s services for a fee worth £20m.

Trabzonspor are also demanding that a 15% sell-on clause is put in place, with Omur being labelled as the ‘Turkish Messi’ in recent years.
The attacking midfielder has been in fine form for the Turkish side this season, scoring four times and grabbing eight assists, which has alerted numerous clubs around Europe.
Omur has attracted interest from Manchester United and Lille, but it appears the Reds are the front runners in the race to sign the player this summer.
Jurgen Klopp has insisted he is keen on bolstering his squad this summer, despite the Reds still in the hunt for both the Champions League and Premier League, and securing the services of Omur could prove to be a key piece of business for the future.
