Liverpool are set to offer Harvey Elliott a new three-year deal, according to Football Insider.
The 16-year-old has enjoyed an impressive first season at Anfield, having joined from Fulham last summer.
Elliott has made seven appearances overall, catching the eye with his quality on the ball in some mature performances.
The report states that Liverpool are in ‘advanced talks’ with the youngster, as they look to tie him down to a new contract.

I believe Elliott has the potential to be one of the most exciting English players of his generation, judging by what he has produced this season.
The teenager looks a special talent in terms of his ability, possessing a Lionel Messi-esque knack for cutting onto his left foot and displaying a low centre of gravity. He was excellent on his debut against MK Dons and he hasn’t looked back since.
Elliott will need to bide his time before making a bigger impression at Liverpool, such is the competition for places, but if he stays grounded and continues to excel in the youth teams, he can be a future star at Anfield.
He has the talent to make it, and if he keeps learning from Jurgen Klopp and the players around him, the sky is the limit.
