Beijing Guoan centre-back Kim Min-jae has been garnering attention from a host of big European clubs, including Liverpool, according to 90min.
The 23-year-old South Korea international has impressed for club and country and looks increasingly likely to leave the Chinese Super League for one of Europe’s top divisions.
Although Liverpool has been mentioned as one of the clubs wanting Min-jae, Tottenham Hotspur are said to be confident in capturing the player’s signature in the next transfer window.
Beijing Guoan are allegedly looking for around £15m for their star defender and Sky Sports have reported that it will take a large sum to prize him away from the Chinese side.

Touted in China as the ‘South Korean Virgil Van Dijk’, Min-jae is clearly very highly-regarded by his peers and those who regularly see him in action.
It seems inevitable that he will be on his way to a big European club soon, and it may well be Jurgen Klopp’s side.
It doesn’t seem that it would take a huge sum to capture his signature, with Tottenham being reported to have made a recent bid of £10 million.
Spurs seem to be in greater need of a centre-half right now than Liverpool are and the South Korean international may well be in for a shout of first-team football straight away if he moved to London.
Joe Gomez and Virgil Van Dijk are not likely to be split up anytime soon and Min-jae would have to be prepared to spend time on the bench if he joined the champions.
If the Reds decide to let Dejan Lovren leave, then the South Korean star could be his replacement, but whether he’d be happy to accept a backup role remains to be seen.
