Liverpool step up their interest in Manuel Lanzini

According to the Mirror, Liverpool have upped their interest in West Ham playmaker Manuel Lanzini.

Liverpool have yet to sign a replacement for Phillipe Coutinho as he joined Barcelona in January for over £100 million, and Jurgen Klopp has reportedly got his eye on the Argentinian.

Lanzini has managed to score five goals and six assists this season, despite having a few injury problems.

Lanzini and West Ham only just avoided relegation this season and with David Moyes’ future in doubt, it looks like the 25-year-old could be on his way out of the London Stadium.

Naby Keita will be joining Liverpool this summer  and the Reds are reportedly interested in signing Lyon;s Nabil Fekir too as it looks like Klopp is definitely going to strengthen his squad this summer as he hopes to mount a title challenge next season.

Lanzini, who scored against Liverpool earlier this season, is said to be willing to make a move to the Reds if a fee can be agreed but West Ham are not keen to let him go unless Liverpool make a huge offer.
