Liverpool are still interested in a summer move for David Alaba, with the Bayern Munich star set to confirm his exit on Tuesday.
That’s according to Bild [via Sport Witness], who claim that the Reds, Chelsea and Manchester City still want to acquire the Austrian’s signature.
It is stated that Alaba’s ‘dream’ move is still Real Madrid, but it is looking increasingly likely that he will head to the Premier League.
Alaba has enjoyed a glorious spell at Bayern over the past decade, winning nine Bundesliga titles and two Champions League crowns.

Alaba would be a superb signing if Liverpool could get a deal over the line, given his world-class quality and pedigree.
The defender is still only 28, so he should have several years left at the very top, and is capable of excelling at both centre-back and left-back. He has even played in central midfield in the past, too.
Alaba’s high wages could prove to be a stumbling block, however, with his demands higher than any other current Liverpool player.
