Liverpool target Julian Brandt has signed a contract extension with Bayer Leverkusen until 2021.
The Reds have been linked with the German winger on numerous occasions in the past few seasons when they have been on the hunt for a new winger.
But today the Merseyside club were dealt with a huge blow, as the 21-year-old put pen to paper with the Bundesliga outfit for a further three years.

He said, via Bayer Leverkusen’s official club website:
I feel totally comfortable and I see something super big growing here. This had recently been shown to me by the recent contract renewals of Jonathan Tah & Lars bender. The two of them, just like me, are convinced they can achieve something with this team.
Brandt, who has six goals in 21 league appearances, still had a year remaining on his contract, but Leverkusen have acted quickly to rule out the prospect of losing one of their star men this summer with a new and improved bumper deal.
Liverpool are well stocked in the wide attacking areas as it is, however, with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane having been in tremendous form throughout the season.
