The agent of Bruno Fernandes is flying to England for further talks with Liverpool, according to A Bola, via Inside Futbol.
The Portuguese has been continually linked with a summer move to Anfield, as Jurgen Klopp looks to bring in attacking reinforcements.
The Reds aren’t alone in their interest, however, with Tottenham and Manchester United also being spoken to by agent Miguel Pinho.
Fernandes is thought to be keen on a move to the Premier League and it now looks like a three-way tussle for his signature.
The report does state that Sporting CP are still yet to receive an official for their star man, but that could now change.
Liverpool, Spurs and United are not willing to bid more than €55 million, though, which could be an issue.
Fernandes is expected to return to pre-season training with Sporting later this week, but his future is expected to lie elsewhere.
The 24-year-old scored 31 goals in 50 appearances from attacking midfield last season.
