Liverpool FC have announced that they will play Torino FC in a pre-season friendly at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will face the Italian outfit on Tuesday August 7th, kick-off at 7.30pm, in what will be the Reds last pre-season friendly ahead of their 2018/19 campaign.
Torino are among the most successful clubs in Italy with seven league titles, including five consecutive league titles.
The have also won the Coppa Italia five times and were finalists in the UEFA Cup in 1991-92.
It will be the first time that the clubs have met, in what promises to be an exciting game.
Liverpool FC last played a pre-season friendly at Anfield back in 2014, when then Reds claimed a 4-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund.
Ticket sales for the game will begin at 8.15am on Monday 18th June for Season Ticket Holders and 8.15am on Tuesday 19th June for LFC Members. Tickets will then go on general sale from 8.15am on Wednesday 20th June.
