Liverpool transfer target Alisson is reportedly set to sign a new long-term contract with Champions League semi-finalists Roma.
Italian outfit Tutto Mercato Web claim that the Brazilian will sign a deal that runs until 2023, ruling out the chance of the ‘keeper leaving the club this summer.
Jurgen Klopp is in the market for a ‘keeper with Simon Mignolet keen to leave Anfield and doubts still remaining over Loris Karius, who has enjoyed a prolonged run in the team in recent months.
25-year-old Alisson moved to the Stadio Olimpico in 2016 but spent his first season as understudy to Arsenal loanee Wojciech Szczesny.

He finally made his Serie A debut at the start of this season and has since cemented his place as number one, with 34 league appearances and 10 in the Champions League.
Two of those Champions League appearances were against Liverpool in the semi-final, where the keeper was one of the Italian side’s better players, despite conceding seven times over the two legs
However, the same report says Roma may be forced to sell players, with general manager Mauro Baldissoni saying:
Alisson? The club will decide whether we want to see him based on what is being offered to us, as well as the player’s will. If everyone has an agreement, then a decision will be made. We think Monchi is the best sporting director in Europe. He will make the appropriate assessments.
