Last night, it was reported that Liverpool had shown an extreme interest in RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
However, those reports were quickly rubbished this morning as, according to The Echo, the Reds are not interested in the German international, who has scored an impressive 18 league goals this season.
Liverpool have been linked with the 22-year-old heavily in the past few months, but Jurgen Klopp apparently feels like he has enough striking options to select from and will be looking to strengthen other key areas in the squad.

According to the report, Klopp is keen on fast-tracking youngster Rhian Brewster inoto the first team squad next season, after he impressed the manager this season, before sustaining an injury in January.
The young striker has undergone operations on both his ankle and his his knee, but he is making good progress in recovery and is expected to return to full fitness in July.
As it stands, Danny Ings, Dominic Solanke and Brewster will provide competition and back-up for Robert Firmino. Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge are the club’s other striekr options but both look set for permanent moves away from the club in the summer.
