Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren will face a late fitness test before the club make any decision on his availability for the Napoli clash.
As reported on the club’s official website, Lovren remains a doubt for the game but Jurgen Klopp confirmed the defender could train with the rest of the first-team squad before the game against Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
We will see how Dejan is doing. Yesterday he was out on the pitch and looked quite well. Can he be part of training today or not? We will see that. Squad-wise, [there is] no bad news at least.
Lovren has missed the club’s last three games and it remains unclear about whether or not he will come back into the fold against the Italian outfit.

The Croatian’s return will come as a timely boost to Klopp, who recently saw Joe Gomez sidelined for a lengthy period with a leg fracture.
Joel Matip started at the back for Liverpool against Bournemouth and he could be called upon again midweek if Lovren is unable to make a return against Napoli.
Klopp will be hoping to be as close to full strength as possible, with the final group game vital in their hopes of progression.
