Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas has hinted that his club will allow reported Liverpool target Nabil Fekir to leave this summer.
Lyon defeated Nice 3-2 on Saturday night to secure a place in the Champions League next season and speaking to reporters after the game, Aulas hinted that his club won’t stand in Fekir’s way if he says he wants a move.
Lyon have allowed top players like Alexandre Lacazette and Corentin Tolisso to leave the club in recent years and the President referenced both players when speaking about the future of his club captain.

When asked if Fekir will leave this summer, he said (via GFFN):
For the moment we have not discussed it, we wanted to see which competition we would be playing in next season. I am someone who respects my players’ wishes once they have brought what they have brought, like Tolisso, Lacazette. We will discuss to see what Nabil wants.
French broadcasters Canal+ reported on Saturday evening that a deal to take Fekir to Liverpool was “99 per cent complete”, but Aulas’ comments would suggest that things are not as advanced as that.
